That time when you simultaneously savor the present yet reflect on the past is once again upon us! Some day in the future, someone will ask, "What did you do for your 25th birthday?" and I'll say, "Brain surgery." It's been nearly a week since the first operation and I've two more to undergo before this month is out, but I'm trying to focus on making the most of my extended recovery period with updating my portfolio and enhancing my skill set. So that means diving back into Photoshop, Illustrator, anime/manga (Yay!), writing and web design. Because my job required more analytic logic than creativity, I've let a lot of my artistic skills slide by the wayside. Not anymore.
